As the body is removed from the chassis the parts and pieces are bagged and tagged then cleaned and restored so they may be reused during reassembly. The body will be placed on our Steelcrafters Body Roll Over Jig. This device holds a body or frame in place at working height so it can be rotated and then held in position as repairs are performed. Complete cars can be mounted and then rolled over so repairs or paint work can be performed to the bottom sides.
With the body removed from the chassis the frame and components will be restored. The Body will be completely disassembled its individual parts cleaned and painted The body shell will be replaced with a brand new one.
Once the new body was in our possession we sanded and repaired all the minor dings and applied seam sealer to all the open gaps. Epoxy primer and surfacer was then applied before painting.
Once the body was perfectly prepared it was painted with PPG Concept Urethane. ( DCC ) and then Clear coated with DCU 2021.
After the finish has a chance to cure we have started on the reassembly of the body.

The interior after assembly! Everything is new, seats, dash, gauges, controls, steering wheel & floor mats.
The exterior is completed and fully assembled from wheel flares to bumpers and canvas top. Every part is new or completely restored.
The drive train, brakes, engine & trans and all other parts are fitted and assembled.
